Algarve 2025 - first stop a parade!

We flew from Funchal in Madeira via TAP Airline to Faro, with a brief stop in Lisbon enroute.   

While in the Algarve region we spent 1 month in a small town called Armacao de Pera and about 2.5 weeks staying at Praia da Rocha (coast area by the city of Portimao).   We rented a 1 bedroom apartment in each place.

For our time in the Algarve our stay we rented a vehicle at Faro airport and we took daytrips to a number of towns in the Algarve (most of which we had visited on previous trips), including Loule, Silves, Albufeira, Olhos d’Agua, Tavira, Olhao (and Armona Island), Lagos, Luz, Burgau, Salema, Sagres.  

Our first outing was to attend the Carnival parade in Loule.
