Porto
We left Aveiro, heading to Porto, where we dropped our rental car at the airport and spent three nights in Porto, before departing on a train for the Algarve. This was our second time in Porto, the first being back in 2017. It has changed a lot, and all for the better. Many more nice shops, cafes and restaurants. Porto is the new version of Lisbon when we first visited there in 2010 and 2015 - fewer tourists but still getting better.
We stayed at Sweet Porto Bloom House and it was beautiful accommodations in a superb location.
We managed to squeeze in a night at the symphony at the impressive Casa da Musica concert hall.
